Plowmen Mini-camp Schedule

Player fees for 2010 have been lowered!!

We are holding four mini-camps at Hidden Cove Sportsplex in Bourbonnais to begin the 2010 season. The cost for each mini-camp is $50.

Attend ALL 4 mini-camps and your player's fees of $200 will be paid in FULL!

Sunday - January 31
Sunday - February 28
Sunday - March 28
Sunday - April 25

All mini-camps are from 1-3pm.  
Wear t-shirt, shorts  or sweats and tennis shoes.
Be on time and ready to go AT 1pm, not 1:05. 
We will be there and start accepting players at 12 noon.

No body will be allowed in after 1pm

This is a family facility, no changing clothes on the field.

If you don't attend all the min-camps, all player fees will need to be turned in by April 25th.

After, hosting the Chicago Bears training camp for several years Kankakee County has an amazing opportunity to host amateur athletics.  The Kankakee Plowmen have answered the call.  The board of directors is made up of a diverse group of individuals.  The Kankakee Plowmen is a not-for-profit semi pro (amateur) football team.  The Kankakee Plowmen offer a unique opportunity for local athletes to advance to other sport venues such as; Major Universities, College, NFL, AFL, AFL2, and other options. 

Our mission is to encourage youth to further their education and develop teaching of personal responsibility, genuine values and commitment to team work.  In general we strive to help develop and encourage a sense of community in the greater Kankakee County area by providing a safe, fun, and affordable family venue for amateur athletes to showcase their talents.

The Kankakee Plowmen offer

  • Family oriented environment

  • Encourages youth to further their education/ teach responsibility

  • Gives youth an alternative to gang and drugs while attending events

  • Members volunteer to partake in various community service projects

  • Provides its members to be part of a positive social environment

  • Higher level of athletics for players 18 & older (players do not get paid)

We hope you will support our vision to develop a Semi-pro football club that Kankakee County can be proud of and help us develop a sport that fans from all social, ethnic, and age groups can enjoy.

The Plowmen have plenty of   advertising sponsorship packages ranging from $20 to $3,000 or we have a ticket package that companies can donate to local charities.  The Kankakee Plowmen will also accept any generous donation given.  The Kankakee Plowmen would like to thank everyone in advance for making this possible.
